I NEVER get political on this blog but I’m stunned and shamed by Mitt Romney’s response to the horrible tragedy in Libya, in which several of our brave diplomats lost their lives.

Mr. Romney calling our official national response “disgraceful” is an outrageous, politically motivated response that shows a complete lack of respect for our national discourse, our sense of unity, and for those who died. I can only hope he comes to his senses and expressed regret for his statement.

I write this not as a Republican, nor as a Democrat – but as an American.
