so here we are, three months away from the publication of my very first book! here’s what i’ve been doing to get ready: worrying, fretting, stressing, biting my nails and tossing and turning at night. oh, and eating a lot of chocolate. here’s what i haven’t been doing to get ready: calling book stores to make sure they’re stocking the book, holding online giveaways, setting up school visits, setting up a blog tour, and generally making sure THE WORLD GIVES A S#!+ ABOUT MY BOOK.

but i am writing this blog, so i guess that’s a start.

now if you’ll excuse me, i have to continue to prepare for publication. there’s a bowl of hershey’s kisses with my name on it…
