Enjoying Myself (Up to a Point)
August 20, 2011
I’m starting to get a little sick of me.
I’ve been in London for four days, seen five great shows, a fantastic soccer match, visited a lovely little town called Chichester, had some nice meals with friends, colleagues and clients, and stayed in a nice hotel.
But mostly, I’ve been by myself. A LOT.
Which is fine: I usually like it. But four days is a long time. I miss my family. I miss my dogs. I miss my bed and my couch and my refrigerator and my remote.
Plus, I’m running out of things to talk about with myself.
I love this city, it’s amazing. I can’t wait to come back. But next time, my wife is coming with me.
Because The London Eye never gets old.
But I, unfortunately, do.
